Welcome to my personal fundraising page for Long Trail Day! On July 17th, 2022, I set the women's self-supported fastest known time on the Long Trail. Leading up to and during this record attempt, I spent a lot of time on the LT and can only begin to appreciate the monumental effort that goes into maintaining this wild, rugged, and beautiful trail. Even from one day to the next, its conditions are always changing. From very muddy to very dry, from clear to being strewn with blow downs. Not to mention the enormous amount of foot traffic from people out there enjoying the trail every day. It's like a wild beast that can't be tamed- but it can be maintained with a whole lot of effort!

The Green Mountain Club does amazing work to support and maintain the very busy hiking trails in Vermont, especially the Long Trail. This is my way of giving back to the trail that means so much to me.

My goal is to raise $2,720.00 for GMC. That's $10 for every mile on the trail!
