There are many people who set foot on the Long Trail each year or appreciate its significance in Vermont’s landscape, but far fewer who give back. As GMC enters its Second Century, we do so with deep gratitude to the members of the Ridgeline Society who contribute $1,000 or more to GMC’s Annual Fund. Their extraordinary generosity provides core support for GMC's trail and shelter projects, land protection and stewardship, education, group outreach, and volunteer services.
Ridgeline Society members enjoy:
• Complimentary annual GMC membership including a subscription to GMC's quarterly magazine, the Long Trail News;
• Complimentary copies of all newly released GMC maps and guidebooks;
• Yearly outing and reception hosted by GMC's President and Executive Director;
Many who love and enjoy the Long Trail cannot contribute at the Ridgeline Society level. If you are in a position to give $1,000 or more, please consider becoming a member of the Ridgeline Society today.
Make a gift online or contact the GMC's Development Office at (802) 241-8322.
(Note: Ridgeline Society gifts differ from GMC Life Memberships: Ridgeline Society gifts support the annual operating budget of the Green Mountain Club, while Life Memberships are a one-time contribution to the GMC's Endowment Fund to provide for the future of the Long Trail.
